Your pilot application is used to assess fit
We collect only the details shown in the application form so we can assess the research task, contact the applicant, and manage pilot admission.
Data and retention
Application records include contact details, role and organization, the described research workflow, source-range and language selections, attribution parameters, status notes, and a rotating one-way network identifier used for abuse prevention.
Applications that do not become active accounts are deleted or anonymized after no more than 180 days unless a longer period is needed to respond to a request or meet a legal obligation. You may request access or deletion through the contact form.
Sharing
We do not sell application data or use it for third-party advertising. Access is limited to people operating the pilot and the infrastructure providers needed to run The Ocean.
Website analytics
The Ocean uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which public pages and calls to action help people discover the pilot. Analytics events do not include application contact details, message text, or other information you submit in a form.
To object to this analytics use, contact us through the contact form. Google may process analytics data as described in its privacy policy.
